How long does implant operations take?

Implant operations are usually 1 to 4 months in normal cases considering newly developed implant designs and system facilities. However, due to critical cases, bone grafting and tissue orientation techniques will be applied together with the duration of 3-9 months. During this time, the implants are usually under the gums (on the gums according to the technique). During this time, the implant heals by contact with the surrounding bone tissue. During this healing process, a functional, comfortable and aesthetic temporary prosthesis can be applied to the patient. The normal prosthetic phase is maintained after healing of the implant in the bone. The time of this prosthetic phase may consist of a few weeks.
